Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Telisco collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple because we only collect what we need to sell you an eSIM and support you.

Information we collect

• Contact details: the name and email address you provide at checkout, used to deliver your eSIM and send order confirmations.
• Order information: the plan you purchased, order reference, and eSIM identifiers needed to provide and support the service.
• Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
• Basic usage data: standard technical information such as browser type, to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

• To deliver your eSIM and provide the service you purchased.
• To send order confirmations, delivery emails, and important service notices.
• To provide customer support and process refunds where eligible.
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to comply with legal obligations.

How we contact you

We send two kinds of emails:

• Service emails - order confirmations, eSIM delivery, receipts, and important notices about an order you placed. These aren't optional, since they're how we fulfill your purchase.
• Marketing and notification emails - things like a reminder that your data is running low, travel deals, and discount codes. We only send these if you've opted in, either via the checkbox at checkout or by subscribing on the site. Every one of these emails includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out takes effect immediately for all future emails of this kind.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and browser storage are small files a website keeps on your device. We use four kinds, and only the first is required for the site to work.

• Strictly necessary - your cart, your checkout session, staying signed in to your account, and fraud and security checks, including cookies set by Stripe when you pay. These cannot be switched off, because without them you could not buy or manage an eSIM.
• Analytics - Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are read and where people give up. We use this to improve the site, never to identify you personally.
• Advertising - Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure which adverts lead to a sale and to show Telisco adverts to people who visited but did not buy. The Meta Pixel also uses Automatic Advanced Matching, which means that where you have entered an email address or phone number on the site, a scrambled one-way version of it is sent to Meta so they can tell whether the person who bought is the person who saw the advert. The original is never sent and cannot be recovered from the scrambled version. This category also covers our own record of which campaign brought you to the site, which we keep for 90 days and attach to an order so we know what it cost us to reach you.
• Reviews - Trustpilot, which loads our rating on the home page. Turning this off hides the rating.

Your choice. Everything except the strictly necessary category is switched off until you allow it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask you when you first arrive, and nothing in the other three categories runs unless you agree. Elsewhere these are on by default, and you can switch them off at any time.

Changing your mind. Select Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing and takes effect immediately. Where a script has already loaded on the page you are reading, it stops on the next page you open.

Blocking cookies in your browser settings works too, though the strictly necessary ones are needed for checkout to function.

Sharing your information

We share information only with the providers needed to deliver your eSIM:

• Our eSIM supplier, to provision the eSIM for your chosen destination.
• Stripe, to process payments securely.
• Our email provider, to send you order and delivery emails.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for the advertising cookies described above, and only where you have allowed them. Nothing is sent to Meta, and no Meta code runs at all, unless you allow Advertising.
• Google, for the analytics and advertising cookies described above, and only where you have allowed them. If you choose Continue with Google on the account page, Google confirms your email address to us and we receive your name, email address and profile picture link, nothing else. Google's own privacy policy applies to your Google account.
• Trustpilot, to display our rating, and only where you have allowed it.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide support, meet accounting and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your personal data where we are not legally required to keep it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected]. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR.
